Hey everybody, after my sibling’s hockey game, my family went to “Sophie’s Cosmic Cafe” for brunch. I ordered the Belgian waffles which came with 4 waffles, a drink, and 3 sausages for around $14.00. The waffles were fresh, and the service was fast. The waffles were very fluffy and golden brown. They came with butter and the table had lots of condiments from honey, to honey mustard. My dad and brother got the “4th avenue lumberjack’s breakfast” which consisted of 2 pancakes, 2 strips of bacon, 2 slices of ham and 2 sausages. The pancakes were buttermilk and were also nice and fluffy.
Our waiter named Jackson was very nice and friendly. I think it would be hard being a waitress or waiter for a fairly busy café like SCC. They had lots of memorabilia and collectibles on the wall which were vintage and cool.
